Windows Movie Maker

In windows movie maker you can make your own little movie or video of whatever you want. You just need a camera to make the video or movie, if you have it record anything you want and then post it in your computer after just go to windows movie maker and edit your movie or video.

MSWMM when you are at the point to edit your photos theres alot of designs and effects to use. you can crop the video change stuff in it, you could put a title, change the way you want the video to start and end, change colours. theres alott you could do in this software. And remember just like Flash and other softwares you HAVE to use MSWMM when you are saving the file or else it wont show. And if you wanna send the file in email you have to make it smaller and save it in your USB key.

mr.case assigned us a project..in that project we have to make our own animation using adobe flash its pretty challenging but i think i could do it..first he assigned us to make a pool table and now we have to make somrthing that we want and he has to be a work of grade 9 not grade 1 or 2. so im kinda trying my best to get there im still thinking of what to do but its pretty hard.

selection tool: changes and makes lines to your picture.

subselection tool: moves your whole picture.

free transform tool: moves the picture you drew and leaves the box empty so you coukd do another one.

lasso tool: cuts your picture.

pen tool: you can use this to write.

text tool: use this to write.

line tool: make lines.

rectangular tool: make a rectangle box.

pencil tool: write with this.

brush tool: you can use this to paint.

ink bottle tool: write with ink.

paint bucket tool: colour the background.

eyedropper tool: finds the colour you need.

eraser tool: erases your mistakes.

hand tool: moves the picture.

zoom tool: zooms your picture.

stroke colour: find the colour you want to use.

fill colour: find your colour so you can fill in your picture.

no colour: erases the colour you had.

magic wand: cuts the part of your pictures you dont want.

magic wand settings: different types of wand you can use for your picture for different stuff.

pollygon mode: makes straight lines for you.

Adobe Flash

Today in BTT class we learned how to use Adobe Flash, it a great place to make games or make cool stuff for your phone or ipod or computer or anything you want. there are some rules you have to follow and know first. For people who use to use this in old times it used to be really hard because they would use the ways that are really slow and take forever to make. But now they have much much easier and faster ways to do stuff. Ex. say if u like pool game, you can actually make a pool game in here and it seems prettty cool and its really easy too.

Organize. (photoshop will automatically add pictures into your organizer, if you have created it with photoshop.) Tag your images by clicking it, and going up to the options column and click on ''tag''. Tagging is a great way to organize your pictures. You can add things like captions, sound, etc. All the information is in the picture, like what camera was used to take the picture, what time it was taken at etc. If you want to make a calendar, you can drop the pictures into the calendar. You can insert pictures into your calendar, on the date you took the picture or you made it. This is a user friendly feature. This calendar feature isn't on every photoshop. Hint: study the ''create'' things. He might ask you how to create a photo book= You select the pictures you want, go to create, photo book. Its a nice way to make a page. Slide show= select the pictures you want, go to create and select slide show. When you make a slide show, you can put it onto a DVD, and watch it on your computer. You can fit slides to audio. You can have slides match the mp3, so it fills the whole space. You can email the slide show, and change the size of it. You should know: What resolution should a picture be when your printing it? 300 DPI What are the two main sizes a picture should be. 8x10 and 5x7, and 4x6 resolution for monitor= 72DPI The different tools. - You can use the navigator instead of the zoom tool. If you want to add a complimentary colour to your picture, you can use the eye dropper, and it will sample colour from an image . Markee tool- selects an area. If you want to get rid of the markee tool, you have to click CTRL+D. First thing you do for trouble shooting your problem(if your tools aren't working) : 1) go to layers. you might be on the wrong layer 2) remove a selection. [there is a good chance that there might be a small selection on your page, so check for any selections. so press CTRL+D, to make sure. 3) they are on the wrong mode. (but you don't need to worry about this step) Lasso tool: tries to automatically highlight the closest thing you wanted to choose. a selection tool magic wand: selecting colors= when you use the magic wand, tolerance- how close the pixels are together. contiguous- will select the pixels that are touching the pixel you chose. You can use the magic brushes to extract people, or anything from a picture. You have mask tool: its a selection for wanting to do something weird. Gives you a mask, so you can make changes. It will mask an area out. [don't need to know because Mr.Case doesn't use it.] Crop tool: you can choose the length, height, resolution. Cookie cutter tool: you chose a shape and it make a selection for you. [Mr.Case doesn't use it.] Its a way of making selections in fancy shapes. Like hearts, etc. Straightening an image(it makes your image straight): you have to make a duplicate layer, like you always have to do. (Mr.Case doesn't use it) Red eye: desaturates the red in someones colour. It extracts the red. Changes the red level to zero. Spot healing: If there is a blemish in a picture, tap on a n area, it takes the information from the surrounding pixels to make the blemished spot go away. Its similar to the clone tool. Blur: opposite = sharpen dodge: brighter. burn: darker. Trick is to apply it to a realistic place. Used for making shadows. [you don't really need to know] Make sure you know your hexadecimals: (goes up by 16's) 256= 100 16- 10 17= 11 32= 20 There will be three questions on the test about hexadecimals! a0 = 160 a1= 161 a00= 2560 Additive and subtractive colours. Primary colours when dealing with light: RGB Primary colours when dealing with ink: Cyan, magenta, yellow Opposite of RGB is cyan, magenta, and yellow. And the middle is white. when you add everything together CMYK. k=black Additive for monitors. when you add colours you get bright colours Subtractive for printers. when you add colours you get darker colours ff is the highest value. If you have ff under R, you'll have red.

well i want to do a webpage about lil wayne the rapper whos soo cute and amazing but mr.case says if i do imma get in too much trouble because its copyright and that pissed me off alot, i really wanna do it about him and imma do my best to find a website about him that doesnt have a copyright or just take permission from them but if i didnt i dont think i will do anythink i think!!

Web pages

Today in class mr.case was teaching us how to make our own webpages he taught us alot of new cool features well for me they were cool and interesting. Adobe Dreamwaver is a great place to make a webpage for yourself you c ould other sites but to be honest i think Adobe dreamwaver is the best program you could find. i think that besides Adobe Dreamwaver to make pictures or to use cool stuff to post on your webpage photoshop is the best place you could go to its really easy and the cool thing is you could do anything you want in there and it wont be called as playderizim. Mr.case showed us how to go on google and actually change the homepage and put anyhting you want in there for yourself say you dont want the Google name on your homepage at your computer you could go to Adobe Dreamwaver and change it to whatever you like ex.your name.

Photoshop

In BTT class today mr.case wasnt here and we had a supply teacher well we were supposed to use photoshop to create pictures and if we didnt have pictures we would go to mr.cases pick up folder and use his pictures...so i didnt have my pictures and i used two of his and kinda made it look really funny and both the pictures were mr.burttons pictures you could go check them out its really funny:)

HTML codes

In BTT class today we learned about HTML codes...we learned how to make pages and use hexadecimal at the same time. we learned so many cool stuff we even learned how to change googles homepage by a name we want. And change the colours and anything else in there, we learned how to fool people and make them think we haked a page but we actually didnt we just use Adobe dreamwaver and make it look like we hacked the pages, its soo cool. And plus mr.case gave us this site to help us with the HTML codes so we know what order we go into and know thr rules and what to do...www. webmonkey.com and in that website we go to the cheatsheet page and they gave you all the information.

Photoshop 5.0

mr.case taught us how to use the new photoshop its still the same as 1 but it just has a little more new tools that he thinks we really dont need that much...meaning its extra.the tools are very similar except it has some new ones like:

• Cookie cutter
• Spot healing brush tool

These are the only ones that are new.

we are supposed to make a picture for mr.case to prove to him that we know how to use photoshop...and we are not supposed to make a grade 1 or 5 picture it has to be totally a grade 9 picture you know..like if someone sees it they would actually say that yes that was made by a grade 9 student. Everyone worked really hard to make a picture i really didnt know what to do i was so confused but i thought about it and finally i made a picture of earth. For me i think its not like grade 9 picture fully but i think i did good enough.

Bert Monroy

Bert monroy is a real great photoshop artist....atleast thats what i think. All his images from photoshop are great he has the best pictures and the way he creates them is amazing. It takes alot of time but he still does it with all his effort. it seems like he has alot of patience he never gives up because even if it takes a year he still finishes his work no matter what it takes. He has alot of confidence with his work but thats good because from what i think hes the best photoshop artist. I learned that you dont have to be good at art just to us photoshop or any other documents you just need to work with math and geometry thats all it takes. And by the way Bert monroy makes mr.cases bricks look soooo bad!!

Photoshop

In BTT class we learned about how to change a pictures background to either light/darker red or blue or green. It has different levels of colours to choose from. If you go to Enhance and go down to levels or brightness and contrast you can do so many cool stuff to your picture you can change a morning picture and make it seem like its night and change a night picture and make it look like its in the morning. not only that but if you go down to Enhance you can see more stuff there all of those are really cool too.

Photoshop tools:
Rectangular Marquee Tool:basically makes a square or a circle and cuts the picture.

Move Tool:basically this tool moves the image to where ever you want.

Lasso Tool:cuts an image and moves it to another page, lasso tool has two more tools that go with it, Polygano Lasso tool and Magnetci Lasso tool.

Magic wand Tool:if you click anywhere on the image it picks all of the little pixels that is 10 steps away from it and changes the colour of it to what you want.

Croop Tool:cuts the picture.

Horizantal Type Tool:write text.

Shape selection Tool:different kinds of shapes you can seslct and use.

Gradient Tool:gives your image two colours(two colours mix).

Air brush tool:a paint brush.

Paintbrush Tool:a paint brush.

Paint bucket Tool:basically fills your background with colour.

Pencil tool:a pencil.

eraser tool:an eraser.

Impressionist brush Tool:blurs your image.

Blur tool:blurs your image.

Sharpen Tool:sharpens your image.

Sponge tool:softens your image.

Smudge tool:smudges your image.

red eye brush tool:moves the red eye in a picture.

Dodge tool:darkens your image.

Clone stamp tool:clones your picture(makes another one somewhere else in the image).

Eyedropper tool:gives you the same colour of your picture.

hand tool:moves your image.

Zoom tool:clsoen ups your image.

In BTT class we learned about Photoshop, mr.case taght us sooo many new things about photoshop, we learned how to crop pictures how to paint brush them how to design pictures and lots of other cool stuff. Photoshop is the best way to fix a picture or decorate them. Mr.case taught us all these variety of tools you can use to edit a picture. There are some tools their that are not that useful and you dont really need to use them, just extra stuff. Powerpoint can edit your picture to anything you want, you can actually change an original picture background to something you want. its a really great document!

In BTT class we are making tutorials about Microsoft Word. we are making a Book about Microsoft word for people who dont know how to work with microsoft, this book will help them alot. this book has all the innstructions you will need. this book can teach you really fast and to be honest it really comes in handy, microsoft word is a everyday thing people use, so if you aint good at it you should buy this book.

Microsoft Owrd is a very handy thing for students like us, it has every tool you would need to do a project or write an essay or make a title page you done only need photoshop or powerpoint microsoft has everything too, and soon we are going to be making a instruction book about it everyone needs to make a tutorial, it'll be fun.

today in BTT class we had to do a presentation about 10 things we dont know about microsoft word but only pick one of the ones from the 10. I choose Permission and to find permission you have to look under Find, Permission helps prevent sensitive documents and email messeges from being forwarded, edited or copied by unauthorized people.

today in Btt class i wrote 10 things i didnt know about microsoft word and im sure i dont know more than 10, i learned and used stuff i never got to use in my life before i learned alot of new tools ofcourse at first it was so confusing to understand but it became easier when i tried it over and over again.

today in BTT class i learned about legal copyrights. stuff i learned today really pissed me off because i learne dthat if you do a project in colleges or universities and you hand them in it doesnt belong to you anymore it belongs to the school, you dont have the rights to keep it but you have the rights to call it your own or post it somehwere. no matter how good bad you did it after you handed it you cant get it back because its not your property anymore but still you have a lil rights to it, you can call it your own or if you wanna post it or publish it somwhere you can.

today in BTT class i learned about legal copy rights. i learned alot and what i heared ws interresting stuff at first it was kinda boring but then later on it started to make sense i mean i started to think that i should know all this stuff because its actually gonna help me i mean if i do something thats illegal and i dont know it was it could have been my fault because all this time in school i wasnt paying attention but if i listen in class now and learn everything then later on in the future i am 100% sure i wont do anything thats illegal. learning about playdarisem is really interesting it teaches you about hoe to be careful when your downloading or when your doing your project you have to be real careful. if you copy something of the internet and you dont put it in your own words your going to get in soo much trouble you can actually get sewed and plus get suspended from school for copying someone elses work its tough stuff but you have to follow it.

Work ethic

the industrial revolution was made by the set of personal values that came to be known as the " work ethic."

Thomas Edison says "is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration." basically what hes trying to say is that if you work hard you can achieve anything you want,you could get anything in the world you want all you need to do is study and work really hard to get there. so if he have eveyone by your side telling you to study and do good in school listen and you might be thanking them later.
